Seller handbook

Playbook for selling with Ribuk Seller

This handbook is designed for bookshops, resellers and coaching institutes who work with Ribuk Seller. It covers how to place orders, plan seasons and keep your customers happy.

1. Getting started

  1. Share your business details (name, GSTIN, address, contact person) with our team at support@ribuk.in.
  2. Tell us what you currently sell – school, college, engineering, competition or kids titles – and the boards/courses you serve.
  3. We'll suggest a starting catalogue and share wholesale pricing, minimum order quantity and logistic options.

2. Placing & tracking orders

  • • Use a simple Excel sheet or email format with SKU / title, quantity and required date to place orders.
  • • For repeat orders, you can mark fast-moving items and we'll help you maintain buffer stock.
  • • Once dispatched, we share courier / transport details so you can track consignments and plan shelf arrangement.

3. Planning seasons & avoiding stock-outs

  • • Share your expected admission and exam-season timelines with us in advance so we can reserve stock.
  • • For schools and colleges, we recommend confirming booklists at least 4–6 weeks before session start.
  • • For coaching centres, keep a simple monthly forecast of batches and course material so reorders are smoother.

4. Handling returns & customer issues

Occasionally, books may have printing defects or get damaged in transit. Our 7-day replacement / refund policy is designed to protect both you and your customers.

  • • Check cartons quickly on arrival and report visible damage within 7 days.
  • • For defective copies discovered later, collect them separately and share photos / counts with our support team.
  • • Refer to shipping & return policy and refund policy for full details.

5. Growing your business with Ribuk Seller

  • • Use our bestsellers and bundles to create attractive displays and offers for parents and students.
  • • Offer school-specific kits and combo packs to simplify purchasing for families.
  • • Share feedback from your customers with us so we can suggest better titles, formats or price points for upcoming seasons.
